Commission a drawing
How much do you charge?
Please email me with cost enquiries, as they tend to vary depending on the chosen subject. A4 and A3 pencil drawing commissions can range from £100-250 unframed. Please have a look at my pricing and shop pages for more information.
What is the lead time?
This can depend on how many commissions I have to finish, and how much notice is given. The waiting time can be anywhere between one and three weeks. I will try and accommodate last minute requests as much as possible.
Is it possible to use two separate photographs for one drawing?
I would advise against this. The lighting, tone and angles will all be very different, often making the final drawing distorted or not quite right. I tend to work from just one image.
I want to order a drawing for someone else but can't supply you with photographs.

Can I collect my picture in person?
Yes, if you live in the London area and want to do this, we can arrange for you to collect your commission in person.
Will my drawing appear on the website?
I am very grateful when customers allow me to display their commissions on my website, but I understand that some people prefer to keep them private. Please state if you are not happy with your commission going online via email.
Please can you post the artwork to me?
This is of course possible. Any unframed work can be sent easily in an extra enforced 'do not bend envelope'. I have posted framed pictures in the past and had no problems, but there is a risk of glass breaking. We can discuss this via email.
How can I get a quote?

Payment
When do I pay and what are the guarantees?
I do not require a deposit for commissions. After I have finished your drawing, I will send you a photograph of it. Once you have decided that you are completely happy, I will give you the information for payment.
I want to use your drawing for my Christmas cards, is it possible to have a digital scan as well as the original?
Yes absolutely. A small additional cost will incur if you require any digital scans.
What are the payment methods?
The easiest way to pay is by bank transfer online, or Monzo transaction. Alternatively, if we are meeting up, cash is accepted.
